My Typical Day...

 

Washing clothes...getting discouraged by the never-ending demand

 

Washing Dishes...at least two full sink loads a day

 

Breakfast...usually cereal, yogurt, waffles or scrambled eggs

Computer time - scrapping, email, school work, etc.

Reading time....lots and lots of reading

Picking flowers...constantly (the girls, not me)

Making the bed...wishing for a nap

Vaccuming

My weakness in life...Dr. P

Going for walks to the bluff, the beach, or park...or simply hanging around outside

Cooking with our half-functional stove/oven

Reading, writing, point out LOTS of a's and r's (as well as the other 24 letters of the alphabet)

Folding clothes...and eventually putting them away

And, of course...hanging out with these two little rugrats! (AK left, Roo right)

It may not be the most exciting life, but it's mine. I try to find joy in the little things....and simply deal with everything else that is thrown my way. Thanks for letting me share my typical day!!

When It Rains, It Pours....

...or floods, if you have our luck. In all truth, actually, it wasn't rain that caused the flood but rather the tantrums of a 4 year old who was upset at having to wash her hands. While in a tizzy, she must have forgotten to fully turn off the sink knob....which resulted in the kitchen sink overflowing and creating a soppy, wet mess all over the kitchen floor. Not the best way to spend a Thursday afternoon, but we managed to survive.

Here are my most recent scrap pages. Some of the pages are linked to the actual product used to make the layout (if only one product/kit was used) and other images are linked to the home gallery in which they were posted so that you can see the full page credits (if more than one kit was used). Not all the images are currently linked as I am still trying to figure out blogger's new photo uploading/linking tool....at the moment, it doesn't seem to like me very much.
