Let's see...we've had possums and squirrels and even a little field mouse. Now, we have a group of racoons that has been raiding our avocado tree and running relays across our rooftop at night.
The photos are pretty crummy (sorry) but these not-so-little racoons were not scared about asserting their territorial claim. On this particular night, there were 3 of them together...the smallest was just a little larger than our neighbor's dog Hugo. When they run across the roof, it sounds like a person is actually up there.
Crazy things...in the 1 1/2+ years we've lived here, we have never seen these guys. Let's hope they decide NOT to stick around for the long haul!
