Cooler temps, intense winds, and possible thunder storms have brought a little bit of relief to the previous days scorching temps. I'd take the current conditions, storms and all, over what this summer is going to bring.
The girls and I attempted to get outside and enjoy the break in temperatures yesterday, but we didn't last long. After a few pretty powerful gusts of wind almost knocked each gal over, they decided they were "all done...all done mama!" SO, yesterday turned out to be a pretty chill day of reading books, doing puzzles, folding laundry, washing dishes, watching a movie or two, playing cars, coloring, and snuggling on the couch with my two beautiful girls. I tell ya...life doesn't get much better than that!
